instructions directly from President Wilson.

Chaim Weizmann scuttled The Morgenthau mission to Turkey, which aimed to
make a Separate Peace with Turkey. It might have shortened World War 1
by more that a year. Weizmann did it because, had the mission succeeded,
there would have been no Balfour Declaration and no Israel.

Morgenthau was Jewish, but anti-Zionist.

The text below is a draft of part of the book Prolonging the Agony, by
Jim MacGregor & Gerry Docherty. The book was published about a month

William Yale was involved in the mission. His paper is damning of
Weizmann. Yale wrote:

Why is there no entry for Good Friday? Perhaps because this day is
unpleasant for Jews?

In a St. Louis suburb this week to sell the Republican tax bill,
President Trump appeared on stage with twin symbols of his vision of the
country’s heritage — a pair of American flags and a row of Christmas
trees, adorned with red, white and blue ornaments.

"I told you that we would be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again," Trump
said, eliciting roars of approval from hundreds of supporters at the St.
Charles Convention Center. [...]

Trump was signaling to his base that he was following through on a
campaign promise to shelve what he and his supporters view as political
correctness aimed at marginalizing the nation’s Christian majority in
the name of diversity.

"Remember, I was the one when I was here the last time, I said, ‘We’re
going to have Christmas again,’ ’’ Trump said. "I was the one that said,
you go to the department stores and you see ‘Happy New Year’ and you see
red and you see snow and you see all these things. You don’t see ‘Merry
Christmas’ anymore. With Trump as your president, we are going to be
celebrating ‘Merry Christmas’ again."

More than a year before he was elected, Trump had begun working into his
stump speech references to the proverbial "war on Christmas," a familiar
refrain among some on the religious right and on Fox News during
President Barack Obama’s eight years in office. Trump even held a
Christmas rally in Grand Rapids, Mich., in December 2015, with giant
wreaths and the words "Merry Christmas" written in script on campaign
posters.

which specify a time - specifically, "Last Week". Best to use Google
Advanced Search (bookmark it):

only published in the last week. Do your check soon, or you'll have to
specify "Last Month" instead.

When I checked yesterday, I found that The Daily Mail had covered the
story, and that Markets Insider did (but that's a minor publication).
Other MSM did not mention it, but Alternative media did - these are the
ones the MSM ridicule, and try to isolate by diverting traffic away from
them.

The study was done by Professor Chris Exley, and published in the
Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology.

It was also published in The Hippocratic Post.

When I checked yesterday, I noted that MSM did not seem to have used
Factcheckers to ridule the story - they just ignored it.

One or two 'Sceptic' sites did, however, ridicule it, using ad-hominem
attacks against Professor Exley.

You might like to do your own investigation of how the MSM have handled
this story, and let me know.

Imagine the lawsuits over Autism caused by Vaccines - there would be
thousands of payouts, each over $1 million. This would be one of the
Court Cases of the Century.

20179,950 Walmart is selling "Antifa" clothing that "will [allow you to]
express yourself inside the opposition to the ideology, organizations,
governments and people from the far right (fascism)." The mega-retailer
is offering at least 13 different sweatshirts "made in Mexico of 100%
COTTON for all-day comfort" promoting the group whose activities were
"formally classified" by the Obama Administration "as domestic terrorist
violence" as early as April 2016, according to Politico, despite the
group’s efforts to downplay this determination.

"Antifa," or Anti-Fascist Action, is an informal grouping of communist,
anarchist, and other far-left street gangs. Drawing inspiration from the
German Communist Party’s street fighters of the 1930s, the modern
movement grew out of the European far-left punk scene in the 1980s.
These unapologetically violent bands of leftists were largely unknown in
the United States until recent years, when America’s post-Occupy Wall
Street far-left began adopting the name.

Antifa is well known for dozens of violent crimes against people they
consider "fascists" on both sides of the Atlantic. As Breitbart News’s
Ian Mason cataloged, to Antifa, "fascists" include "in no particular order":

…Trump supporters, other Trump supporters, members of Germany’s populist
AfD party, a 20-year-old woman who chose to wear a Spanish-flag
bracelet, a Philadelphia free speech rally, former UKIP and Brexit
leader Nigel Farage, libertarian VICE News co-founder Gavin McInnes,
French policemen, and Israeli-owned bookstores. Interesting, a Salafist
Muslim who attacked a "filthy white" Antifa writer because he
disrespected Islam does not qualify.

None of this has stopped Antifa from receiving a rash of positive press
from American left-leaning media outlets; acceptance from both
Democratic politicians and Republicans like John McCain, Marco Rubio,
and Mitt Romney; and, now, its own clothing collection at Walmart.

"Just remember to keep creating a better world," the clothing
advertisements encourage.

This glorification of Antifa was mirrored Friday by the New York Times,
which published a fashion style guide for the group: "practical advice
on how to dress for a riot." In their guide, the Times explains why a
uniform look is needed, from Breitbart News’s Charlie Nash:

"These defensive methods work only if there are enough black-clad others
nearby. A single person in all black and multiple face masks is an eye
grabber."

Finally, the Times claimed that dressing in black militant gear and
concealing your face forms an "emotional connection" with other rioters.

"Tactical considerations aside, it’s this emotional connection with
other members of the bloc that many practitioners highlight the most in
interviews," they proclaimed. "It’s why soldiers and police have uniforms."

Walmart has come under previous criticism for selling "Black Lives
Matter" shirts and other items. Following a request from the national
Fraternal Order of Police, the retail giant eventually removed one of
the items last December, shirts that said "Bulletproof," but refused to
remove the rest.

As with the "Black Lives Matter" paraphernalia, the Antifa products are
being sold by a third party manufacturer, in this case, Tee Bangers, on
Walmart’s website.

violent "black bloc" rioters with a style guide, complete with riot gear
advice. In their article, titled "What to Wear to Smash the State," the
New York Times detailed the fashion of violent far-left rioters who
enjoy "punching Nazis," before advising what to wear during violent
protests and riots.

"This mass of solid black descending upon the park in Berkeley, hunting
for fascists, was an intimidating aesthetic. That’s by design," they
declared, before quoting an anarchist who claimed that covering your
face and dressing in uniform "makes it easier for saboteurs to take the
offensive against storefronts, banks and any other material symbols and
power centers of capitalism and the state."

Despite quoting the anarchist, who openly admitted that the black
clothing and covered faces were used to evade police officers while
committing crimes, the New York Times attempted to claim that the style
is a safety measure to prevent being identified by "white supremacist
groups."

"The creation of mass anonymity protects practitioners from the threat
of post-action doxxing by white supremacist groups, a process by which
their identities and contact information, including addresses and places
of employment, are publicized," they claimed. "People at home can use
this information to harass and threaten. Similarly, police and other
agencies have staff devoted to documenting demonstrations, and they work
to identify people on film and video. These are among the reasons that
some anarchists and anti-fascists advocate smashing cameras at
demonstrations." Apparently, the New York Times favors the "two x"
spelling of "doxing" typically reserved for people new to the Internet.

In their article, the New York Times continued by giving "practical
advice on how to dress for a riot."

"There is more practical advice on how to dress for a riot. One should
decide on organic or synthetic gloves before participating in an action:
Wool and cotton may allow chemical contaminants, like pepper spray, to
absorb, while nylon can melt if you grab something hot, which
historically has included some kinds of tear-gas canisters but can
include various things on fire," they advised, before adding, "These
defensive methods work only if there are enough black-clad others
nearby. A single person in all black and multiple face masks is an eye
grabber."

Finally, the Times claimed that dressing in black militant gear and
concealing your face forms an "emotional connection" with other rioters.

"Tactical considerations aside, it’s this emotional connection with
other members of the bloc that many practitioners highlight the most in

Anti-fascist activists believe in dressing for the job they want. Right
now, many think, that job is punching Nazis.

In late August, a crowd of thousands — primarily leftists and liberals —
cascaded down Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Berkeley, Calif. They were
marching on a spattering of right-wingers, Trump supporters and Nazis
who were gathering under the mission to say "no to Marxism in America."
At the front of the march were about 100 people dressed in head-to-toe
black.

According to many people present, this was the largest so-called black
bloc they’d seen. This medley of black-clad anarchists, anti-fascists
(known as "antifa" activists) and their fellow travelers was a response
to the previous week’s white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
There, protests ended with 19 injured and 32-year-old Heather Heyer
killed when James Fields, an admirer of Hitler who demonstrated with
white supremacists, drove his car into a crowd.

This mass of solid black descending upon the park in Berkeley, hunting
for fascists, was an intimidating aesthetic. That’s by design.

"Cops wear camouflage when they arrest people in city drug raids," said
Ben, a Bay Area activist. "But they’re in a city. It doesn’t help them,
but it makes them look more intimidating." Ben says he has participated
in protests since 2000, including Bush/Gore, Occupy Oakland and Black
Lives Matter. (The Times agreed to use only his first name because of
the threat of harassment, online or otherwise, by activists.) "A group
of people all dressed in black can be intimidating," he said.

Is that intimidation the motive or just a benefit? Do black bloc
practitioners dress up because, as many progressives wonder, they want
to commit crimes? What do they get out of "masking up"? Where does
uniform merge with tactic?

look. Black work or military boots, pants, balaclavas or ski masks,
gloves and jackets, North Face brand or otherwise. Gas masks, goggles
and shields may be added as accessories, but the basics have stayed the
same since the look’s inception.

t’s impossible to say which anarchist street movement first donned all
black. The generally agreed-upon genesis for the bloc’s current
incarnation is the Autonomen movement of the 1970s, which grew out of
class struggles in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and beyond. (Antifa
groups, an overlapping but not at all identical set of people, trace
their lineage back further, to those who fought against the rise of
Hitler; generally, where there is "fa," there’s been "antifa.")

According to a history distributed by an anarchist news service in 2001,
by Daniel Dylan Young, a continuing struggle in Germany between
squatters and police evictors culminated in a 1981 action in which
activists dressed in "black motorcycle helmets and ski masks," wearing
"uniform black clothing."

Nearly immediately, the benefits of such a uniform were realized.

"Everyone quickly figured out," Mr. Young wrote, that "having a massive
group of people all dressed the same with their faces covered not only
helps in defending against the police, but also makes it easier for
saboteurs to take the offensive against storefronts, banks and any other
material symbols and power centers of capitalism and the state."

Both the ease of uniform procurement — the barrier to entry is just
getting black clothes, with only your own ethical purchasing guidelines
to steer you — and the aesthetic’s effectiveness allowed black blocs to
spread. During Ronald Reagan’s visit to Berlin in 1986, a group of 3,000
showed up, according to Mr. Young; in 1999, a bloc of 500 was part of
the "March for Mumia" in Philadelphia, protesting the imprisonment of
the journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal. That same year, between 100 and 300
people became the bloc at the World Trade Organization meeting in
Seattle. [...]

So, while they wear khakis and white polos, the black bloc are left with
some particular defensive and offensive benefits of their very own.

The creation of mass anonymity protects practitioners from the threat of
post-action doxxing by white supremacist groups, a process by which
their identities and contact information, including addresses and places
of employment, are publicized. People at home can use this information
to harass and threaten. Similarly, police and other agencies have staff
devoted to documenting demonstrations, and they work to identify people
on film and video. These are among the reasons that some anarchists and
anti-fascists advocate smashing cameras at demonstrations.

As surveillance techniques have advanced and proliferated — the rise of
the high-resolution portable phone camera along with social media means
more documentation and more distribution than ever — practitioners have
evolved from covering up obvious markers like tattoos, birthmarks and
scars to hiding biometric indicators like ears and noses. Some in black
blocs say they have heard of people placing weights in belts to alter
their gaits.

"I’ll often look through pictures from the demonstration and see if I
can spot myself in any of them," said Elle Armageddon, a Bay Area
activist and writer. "If I can’t find any pictures of myself, I feel
like I’ve done O.K." [...]

There is solid beauty advice as well: "A layer of glitter or highlighter
dusted over your cheeks can serve double duty, showing off your glorious
bone structure while simultaneously providing a helpful way to determine
which side of your bandanna was in contact with your face and which side
is saturated in tear gas particulate." (Also, jean shorts are probably
not ideal.)

There is more practical advice on how to dress for a riot. One should
decide on organic or synthetic gloves before participating in an action:
Wool and cotton may allow chemical contaminants, like pepper spray, to
absorb, while nylon can melt if you grab something hot, which
historically has included some kinds of tear-gas canisters but can
include various things on fire.

One Antifa "fashion don’t" is carrying cellphones. The American Civil
Liberties Union reports that 72 agencies in 24 states and Washington,
D.C., have "simulators" that mimic cellphone towers in order to track
people. [...]

"People sometimes do things that are illegal, but I think they’re
ethical," Ben said. "I’m happy to be in this mass that creates anonymity
for those people, even if they’re doing things I’m not willing to do."

Tactical considerations aside, it’s this emotional connection with other
members of the bloc that many practitioners highlight the most in
interviews. "Uniformity of characteristics" and a visual sense of
equality have a way of, as research published in 2015 put it, giving
"rise to feelings of solidarity." It’s why soldiers and police have
uniforms. It’s why sports teams have apparel for themselves and their
fans, why brands have logos and consistent colorways, why fascists get
slightly too-short versions of David Beckham haircuts and pin frogs to
their lapels.

But unlike hierarchal uniforms like those of the military, say — or even
the difference between worker and management clothes at somewhere such
as McDonald’s — black bloc fashion allows no room for rank to enter the
style. It’s all black and that’s it.

(Other leftist movements use similar techniques. The Zapatista Army of
National Liberation in Chiapas, Mexico, which rose after the 1994
passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement, takes the approach
of cultivating equality through anonymity by wearing balaclavas or
handkerchiefs over the face, but pairs them with the militant gear of
armed struggle or indigenous elements.) [...]

A few days ago, I sent out this news item, but I deleted 'extraneous'
material such as criticisms of Prince Charles over his statement. I just
let Charles' comments stand on their own.

But readers of the Daily Mail, which published the report, did not get
it that way. Charles' comments were preceded, and followed, by
criticisms and refutations. There was not one bit of support for his
position.

Read the whole story, in item 5 below, and you'll notice that Charles'
comments are treated as an embarrassment - as if they had to be
explained away. They are surrounded by refutations.

So much for the idea that the Royal Family runs the show.

once urged the US to ‘take on the Jewish lobby’ – and blamed ‘the influx
of foreign Jews’ for causing unrest in the Middle East.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal the incendiary comments are contained in a
letter in which the Prince lays bare his thoughts on one of the world’s
most bloody disputes.

Writing to his close friend Laurens van der Post in 1986, the Prince
makes a startling assessment of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

He argues it was the exodus of European Jews in the middle of the last
century that ‘helped to cause the great problems’.

He goes on to say terrorism in the region will only end when its causes
are eliminated.

He then expresses the hope a US President will find the courage to stand

makes a startling assessment of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

He argues it was the exodus of European Jews in the middle of the last
century that ‘helped to cause the great problems’.

The term ‘Jewish lobby’ is considered by many to be anti-Semitic –
suggesting wealthy Jews in the US operate behind the scenes to exercise
undue influence over government policy.

Other high-profile figures have been heavily criticised for using the term.

Last night, Stephen Pollard, influential editor of The Jewish Chronicle,
said: ‘To me this is the most astonishing element of the Prince’s
letter. The "Jewish lobby" is one of the anti-Semitic themes that have
endured for centuries. It is this myth there are these very powerful
Jews who control foreign policy or the media or banks or whatever.’

Mr Pollard described the letter as ‘jaw-droppingly shocking’, adding:
‘That they [the Prince’s comments] come from the heir to the throne is
unsettling, to put it mildly.’

While the letter is inflammatory, there is no suggestion Charles holds
anti-Semitic views.

He has many prominent Jewish friends and in 2013 became the first Royal
to attend a chief rabbi’s inauguration ceremony. In a speech that year,
he expressed concern at the apparent rise of anti-Semitism in Britain.

In the past it has been reported that the Prince is privately critical
of US policy in the Middle East, with one diplomatic source accusing him
of having ‘fairly dodgy views on Israel’.

Charles has always enjoyed a close and supportive relationship with the
Jewish community in Britain.

At the same time, he is seen as a defender of Islam, with one historian
noting that no other major Western figure has as high a standing in the
Muslim world.

It has also been suggested he has pro-Palestinian leanings, a perception
the letter appears to support.

State that offered hope for survivors of the Holocaust

Jews from Eastern Europe had been arriving in Palestine - part of which
would later become Israel - even before 1917, when the Balfour
Dedclartion set in motion the creation of the Jewish state. Among those
who came after the end of the Second World War in 1945 were many
survivors of the Holocaust.

In May 1948, when Israel came into existence, five Arab nations - Egypt,
Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon - invaded but were defated by the
Israeli military. From 1948 to 1951, nearly 700,000 immigrants - many of
them from refugee camps in Germany, Austria and Italy - arrived to
settle in Israel.

The Prince’s candid letter surfaced in a public archive.

It was written on November 24, 1986, immediately after an official visit
the then 38-year-old Prince made to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar with
Princess Diana.

He notes the tour was ‘fascinating’ and that he learned ‘a lot about the
Middle East and Arab outlook’.

He goes on: ‘Tried to read bit of Koran on way out and it gave me some
insight into way they [Arabs] think and operate. Don’t think they could
understand us through reading Bible though!

'Also I now begin to understand better their [Arabs’] point of view
about Israel. Never realised they see it as a US colony.

'I now appreciate that Arabs and Jews were all a Semitic people
originally and it is the influx of foreign, European Jews (especially
from Poland, they say) which has helped to cause great problems. I know
there are so many complex issues, but how can there ever be an end to
terrorism unless the causes are eliminated?

‘Surely some US president has to have the courage to stand up and take
on the Jewish lobby in US? I must be naive, I suppose!’

Among those to come under fire for using the term ‘Jewish lobby’ are
General George Brown, the highest-ranking military officer in the US as
chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who was publicly rebuked and
disowned by President Gerald Ford in 1974 after claiming that a ‘Jewish
lobby’ controlled Congress.

Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage was criticised earlier this month when
he referred to ‘a powerful Jewish lobby’ in the US.

In 2006, Chris Davies, former leader of the Lib Dem MEPs, was forced to
resign after he used the term.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu also came under fire when he used the phrase in
a newspaper article in 2002.

The Prince’s reference in the letter to the influx of European Jews also
caused dismay.

It is not clear if he is referring to immigration before or after the
Second World War, or both. Mr Pollard said: ‘It is the absolute classic
Arab explanation of the problems in the Middle East.

'And it is what everyone has always said the British aristocracy
actually thinks – the idea that Jews were some kind of foreigners who
had no real place in Israel until we decided to make it their homeland.
Historically it is nonsense and it’s quite stunning when it comes from
the heir to the throne.’

A senior Israeli diplomatic source said last night: ‘He [Charles] was
travelling around the Gulf states [just before he wrote the
controversial letter], which in those years were very anti-Israel. It
seems he was presented with a narrative in a very convincing way.’

Earlier this month, Britain marked the centenary of the Balfour
Declaration, the document that paved the way for the state of Israel,
with a gala dinner in London attended by Theresa May and Israeli prime
minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Prince called the centenary a ‘deeply significant moment’, adding ‘a
great deal remains to be done if we are to bring about a just and
lasting peace for Israel and her neighbours’.

Suggestions that Charles holds pro-Palestinian views are supported by
his letter to van der Post.

He writes there is much to admire about Islam ‘especially its accent on
hospitality and accessibility of rulers’.

In 1993, Charles delivered what was then considered to be the most
pro-Islamic speech ever made by a member of the Royal Family.

He said: ‘Islam can teach us today a way of understanding and living in
the world which Christianity is poorer for having lost.’

He added: ‘These two worlds, the Islamic and the Western, are at
something of a crossroads in their relations. We must not let them stand
apart.’

In 2003, it was reported the Prince had not been to the US for the
previous six years on Foreign Office advice, largely because of his
criticism of US policy in the Middle East.

A diplomatic source said at the time the Prince had ‘in American terms
and international terms, fairly dodgy views on Israel. He thinks
American policy in the Middle East is complete madness.’

In 2007, leaked emails between senior Clarence House staff put Charles
at the centre of a row about the Royals’ attitude towards the Jewish state.

Exchanges between Sir Michael Peat, the Prince’s then principal
secretary, and Clive Alderton, Sir Michael’s deputy, contained
apparently disparaging remarks about Israel.

Earlier that year, the Israeli embassy invited the two senior aides to
Israel for a four-day visit as guests of the Knesset, the Israeli
parliament.

Sir Michael initially replied enthusiastically, saying: ‘The invitation
is hugely appreciated and Clive and I would love to come.’

But a month later, there was an exchange of emails between Mr Alderton
and Sir Michael that were apparently accidentally copied to the outgoing
Jewish ambassador.

In the emails, Mr Alderton complains of being ‘pursued’ by the
ambassador and says: ‘Safe to assume there is no chance of this visit
ever actually happening?

'Acceptance would make it hard to avoid the many ways in which Israel
would want HRH [Prince Charles] to help burnish its international image.
In which case, let’s agree a way to lower his expectations.’

Over the years, the Prince has forged a close relationship with the
Saudi royal family. But no Royal has ever visited Israel in an official
capacity.

Officials say it is because there is no permanent peace deal in the region.

Earlier this year, however, Charles was pencilled in to visit the
country to mark the Balfour centenary and honour thousands of British
war dead.

But the idea was vetoed by the Foreign Office amid claims it would upset
Israel’s Arab neighbours.

Last night a Clarence House spokeswoman said of the 1986 letter: ‘This
letter clearly stated that these were not the Prince’s own views about
Arab-Israeli issues but represented the opinions of some of those he met
during his visit which he was keen to interrogate.

'He was sharing the arguments in private correspondence with a
long-standing friend in an attempt to improve his understanding of what
he has always recognised is a deeply complex issue to which he was
coming early on in his own analysis in 1986.

'Over the years, the Prince has continued his study of the complex and
difficult themes he referenced here. He has built a proven track record
of support for both Jewish and Arab communities around the world and has
a long history of promoting interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding.’

A new controversial study confirms aluminum in vaccines may cause Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and those children who suffer from it to have
up 10 times more metal in their brains than what is considered a safe
amount for adults. But is anyone surprised that metals cause deficiency
in one’s own body?

Mercury and aluminum have long been debated by people like Robert
Kennedy Jr. as ingredients in vaccines that could cause autism; and for
good reason since we know that both aluminum and Mercury are neurotoxins
that harm the body at high levels. But now researchers have discovered
that aluminum causes the membrane to separate the brain from blood
flowing to it, thus affecting its internal temperature, non-neuronal
cells and inflammatory cells, Daily Mail reported.

"Perhaps we now have the link between vaccination and autism spectrum
disorder (ASD), the link being the inclusion of an aluminium adjuvant in
the vaccine," Professor Chris Exley from Keele University said.

The scientists hypothesize that children who suffer from autism may
suffer from some strange genetic change that cause them to accumulate
aluminum within their bodies. The study was published in the Journal of
Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology.

Another study in 2012 from the peer-reviewed medical journal Lupus by
Lucija Tomljenovic, PhD and Christopher A. Shaw, PhD of the University
of British Columbia corroborates what Professor Chris Exley published,
indicating that aluminum toxicity targets the mitochondria. The
experiment found evidence that aluminum as an adjuvant can lead to
permanent detrimental alterations of the brain and immune system function.

Aluminum is known to cause an "etiology of a number of diseases
including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, dialysis encephalopathy, and
osteomalacia. Al has been shown to exert its effects by disrupting lipid
membrane fluidity, perturbing iron (Fe), magnesium, and calcium
homeostasis, and causing oxidative stress," according to the abstract of
the 2012 study.

This is also on point with what many court rulings have found as well in
relation to vaccines causing autism in once-healthy kids.

One case in an Italian court in September, 2014, "ruled mercury and
aluminum in vaccines cause autism" and awarded a plaintiff’s family
compensation for their young boy who developed autism from a six-in-one
hexavalent vaccine manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. GSK even admits
INFANRIX Hexa can cause several deadly illnesses, but insists that its
risk-benefit profile "continues to be favorable." In 2013, two kids were
awarded millions by the vaccine court, confirming the MMR vaccine causes
autism.

So what is the probability that the MMR vaccine causes autism?  Is there
any research that suggest the vaccine could potentially cause autism in
kids? Yes, there is a ton of evidence including court cases, various
studies, whistleblowers and quotes by health community officials themselves.

This is all on record if you really want to dig. But I figured I’d do
the digging for you, so you can follow along and check my research and
understand where all this comes from and decide for yourself.

A senior CDC official, Dr. William Thompson stated vaccination’s links
to autism and released 1,000 documents to back his claims.

This issue has actually been known since the 1960s that the MMR vaccine
causes autism and has been admitted publicly.

"Rubella (congenital rubella syndrome) is one of the few proven causes
of autism," Walter A. Orenstein, M.D., former Assistant Surgeon General
and Director of the National Immunization Program, said in a 2002 letter
to the UK’s Chief Medical Officer.

Then in 1998, a study by Dr. Andrew Wakefield and colleagues published
in the respected medical journal the Lancet allegedly found a supposed
link with autism and bowel disease which has since been retracted and
called an elaborate fraud. Although research by Mercola found that new
evidence refutes fraud findings in Dr. Wakefield’s Case.

This is the same Andrew Wakefield who was also the director of the
censored movie VAXXED: From Cover-up to Catastrophe.

In 2015, the aforementioned CDC whistleblower Dr. William Thompson
confirmed the previous claims made by Dr. Andrew Wakefield in 1998.
Thompson alleges that his colleagues in a 2004 study by the U.S. Centers
for Disease Control covered up and destroyed 2004 study documents that
showed a significant link between the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps and
rubella) and autism in African American boys vaccinated before 36 months.

If that’s not enough, after the revelation by the CDC whistleblower
other doctors have questioned the MMR vaccine’s safety. Even Dr. Peter
Fletcher, former Chief Scientific Officer at the Department of Health in
the UK, says there are "thousands of documents" that are being ignored
that prove the dangers of the MMR vaccine.

"The refusal by governments to evaluate the risks properly will make
this one of the greatest scandals in medical history," Dr. Peter
Fletcher said.

oath. We all need to email the Congressional Oversight and Reform Office

Brownstein, a top doctor said.

Further evidence that could lead to a link that the aluminum adjuvant
causes ADS is a court ruling in the UK which found that the Swine Flu
vaccinations had caused brain damage and Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS)
in multiple kids in 2015  who took the jab.

Using aluminum and other metals in vaccines as an adjuvant may be part
of a 90-year-old experiment where we were all the lab rats.

Aluminum is an experimentally demonstrated neurotoxin and the most
commonly used vaccine adjuvant. Despite almost 90 years of widespread
use of aluminum adjuvants, medical science’s understanding about their
mechanisms of action is still remarkably poor. There is also a
concerning scarcity of data on toxicology and pharmacokinetics of these
compounds. In spite of this, the notion that aluminum in vaccines is
safe appears to be widely accepted. Experimental research, however,
clearly shows that aluminum adjuvants have a potential to induce serious
immunological disorders in humans. In particular, aluminum in adjuvant
form carries a risk for autoimmunity, long-term brain inflammation and
associated neurological complications and may thus have profound and
widespread adverse health consequences. In our opinion, the possibility
that vaccine benefits may have been overrated and the risk of potential
adverse effects underestimated, has not been rigorously evaluated in the
medical and scientific community. We hope that the present paper will
provide a framework for a much needed and long overdue assessment of

This all also comes after the CDC suggested there might be a link
between miscarriages and vaccinations as I reported for Natural Blaze in
early September.

blood and accumulates in cells involved in maintaining a constant
internal environment, such as temperature, the research adds.

Study author Professor Chris Exley from Keele University, said: 'Perhaps
we now have the link between vaccination and autism spectrum disorder
(ASD), the link being the inclusion of an aluminium adjuvant in the
vaccine.'

The researchers speculate autism sufferers may have genetic changes that
cause them to accumulate aluminium which healthy people are able to remove.

The findings are controversial after the disgraced gastroenterologist
Andrew Wakefield said in 1995 that the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
vaccine is linked to bowel disease and autism.

Mr Wakefield's view has since been widely discredited, however, the
World Health Organization claims people's fear of vaccines means many,
particularly young children, are unprotected against measles.

In a piece for The Hippocratic Post, Professor Exley discusses how
aluminium accumulates in the brains of autism sufferers and if vaccines
may be to blame.

Research at Keele University, published in the Journal of Trace Elements
in Medicine and Biology, provides the strongest indication yet that
aluminium is a cause of ASD.

The aluminium content of brain tissues from five donors who died with a
diagnosis of ASD was found to be extraordinarily high; some of the
highest values yet measured in human brain tissue.

Why for example, would one of the four major brain lobes of a
15-year-old boy with autism be 8.74 (11.59) micrograms/g dry weight - a
value which is at least 10 times higher than might be considered as
acceptable for an adult never mind a child?

Yet, while the aluminium content of each of the five brains was
shockingly high it was the location of the aluminium in the brain tissue
which served as the standout observation.

The majority of aluminium was identified in non-neuronal cells, which
are involved in maintaining a constant internal environment.

Aluminium was also found in inflammatory cells in the brain, alongside
clear evidence of inflammatory cells heavily loaded with aluminium
entering the brain via the surrounding membranes and those that separate
the brain from circulating blood.

The fact that the majority of aluminium found in brain tissues in ASD
was within cells and associated with tissues that maintain the body's
internal environment is, at least for now, unique to ASD and may begin
to explain why young adolescents had so much aluminium in their brains.

Perhaps there is something within the genetic make-up of specific
individuals which predisposes them to accumulate and retain aluminium in
their brain, as is similarly suggested for individuals with genetically
passed-on Alzheimer’s disease.

The new evidence strongly suggests aluminium is entering the brain in
ASD via inflammatory cells which have become loaded up with aluminium in
the blood and/or lymph, much as has been for certain immune cells at
injection sites for vaccines that contain aluminium to increase the
body's immune response.

Note that the authors of the new research paper are being very
charitable (or cautious, logically fearful about being "wakefielded" by
Big Pharma’s trolls that seem to be eveywhere these days) about drawing
the obvious conclusion that the autistic victims whose brains were
tested were certain to have been fully vaccinated starting in infancy
(especially the brain of the 15 year-old autistic boy). It is important
to note that the aluminum remained in the brain for years.

It would be interesting for the authors to go back and obtain the
clinical information about vaccinations and perhaps test for mercury as
well. Orally ingested aluminum rarely reaches the blood stream, much
less comes in contact with or able to cross the brain-brain barrier
(unless the BBB has been sickened by any number of cellular toxins –
including aluminum and mercury) whereas intramuscularly injected
aluminum adjuvants can easily get into the brain, via macrophages and
other white blood cells that naturally ingest the antigens that have
aluminum adjuvants adsorbed (as foreign body) and are then able to
eventually cross the blood-brain barrier through the BBB tight
junctions, along with the ingested aluminum and adsorbed antigens

Hopefully we will hear analyses of this paper from Dr Gherardi, Dr
Shoenfeld, Dr Shaw, Dr Tomljenovic and some of the other experts on
aluminum and vaccine neurotoxicity. (Note that "aluminum" is spelled

ABSTRACT

Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder of unknown
aetiology. It is suggested to involve both genetic susceptibility and
environmental factors including in the latter environmental toxins.
Human exposure to the environmental toxin aluminium has been linked, if
tentatively, to autism spectrum disorder. Herein we have used
transversely heated graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry to
measure, for the first time, the aluminium content of brain tissue from
donors with a diagnosis of autism. We have also used an
aluminium-selective fluor to identify aluminium in brain tissue using
fluorescence microscopy. The aluminium content of brain tissue in autism
was consistently high. The mean (standard deviation) aluminium content
across all 5 individuals for each lobe were 3.82(5.42), 2.30(2.00),
2.79(4.05) and 3.82(5.17) mg/g dry wt. for the occipital, frontal,
temporal and parietal lobes respectively. These are some of the highest
values for aluminium in human brain tissue yet recorded and one has to
question why, for example, the aluminium content of the occipital lobe
of a 15 year-old boy would be 8.74 (11.59) mg/g dry wt.?

Aluminium-selective fluorescence microscopy was used to identify
aluminium in brain tissue in 10 donors. While aluminium was imaged
associated with neurones it appeared to be present intracellularly in
microglia-like cells and other inflammatory non-neuronal cells in the
meninges, vasculature, grey and white matter. The pre-eminence of
intracellular aluminium associated with non-neuronal cells was a
standout observation in autism brain tissue and may offer clues as to
both the origin of the brain aluminium as well as a putative role in
autism spectrum disorder.

1.Introduction

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of neurodevelopmental
conditions of unknown cause. It is highly likely that both genetic [1]
and environmental [2] factors are associated with the onset and progress
of ASD while the mechanisms underlying its aetiology are expected to be
multifactorial [3-6]. Human exposure to aluminium has been implicated in
ASD with conclusions being equivocal [7-10]. To-date the majority of
studies have used hair as their indicator of human exposure to aluminium
while aluminium in blood and urine have also been used to a much more
limited extent. Paediatric vaccines that include an aluminium adjuvant
are an indirect measure of infant exposure to aluminium and their
burgeoning use has been directly correlated with increasing prevalence
of ASD [11]. Animal models of ASD continue to support a connection with
aluminium and to aluminium adjuvants used in human vaccinations in
particular [12]. Hitherto there are no previous reports of aluminium in
brain tissue from donors who died with a diagnosis of ASD. We have
measured aluminium in brain tissue in autism and identified the location
of aluminium in these tissues.

RESULTS

3.1. Aluminium content of brain tissues

The aluminium content of all tissues ranged from 0.01 (the limit of
quantitation) to 22.11mg/g dry wt. (Table 1). The aluminium content for
whole brains (n=4 or 5 depending upon the availability of hippocampus
tissue) ranged from 1.20 (1.06) mg/g dry wt. for the 44 year-old female
donor (A1) to 4.77 (4.79) mg/g dry wt. for a 33 year-old male donor
(A5). Previous measurements of brain aluminium, including our 60 brain
study [15], have allowed us to define loose categories of brain
aluminium content beginning with ?1.00 mg/g dry wt. as pathologically
benign (as opposed to ‘normal’). Approximately 40% of tissues (24/59)
had an aluminium content considered as pathologically-concerning (?2.00
mg/g dry wt.) while approximately 67% of these tissues had an aluminium
content considered as pathologically significant (?3.00 mg/g dry wt.).
The brains of all 5 individuals had at least one tissue with a
pathologically significant content of aluminium. The brains of 4
individuals had at least one tissue with an aluminium content ?5.00 mg/g
dry wt. while 3 of these had at least one tissue with an aluminium
content ?10.00 mg/g dry wt. (Table 1). The mean (SD) aluminium content
across all 5 individuals for each lobe were 3.82(5.42), 2.30(2.00),
2.79(4.05) and 3.82(5.17) mg/g dry wt. for the occipital, frontal,
temporal and parietal lobes respectively. There were no statistically
significant differences in aluminium content between any of the 4 lobes.

3.2. Aluminium fluorescence in brain tissues

We examined serial brain sections from 10 individuals (3 females and 7
males) who died with a diagnosis of ASD and recorded the presence of
aluminium in these tissues (Table S1). Excitation of the complex of
aluminium and lumogallion emits characteristic orange fluorescence that
appears increasingly bright yellow at higher fluorescence intensities.
Aluminium, identified as lumogallion-reactive deposits, was recorded in
at least one tissue in all 10 individuals. Autofluorescence of
immediately adjacent serial sections confirmed lumogallion fluorescence
as indicative of aluminium. Deposits of aluminium were significantly
more prevalent in males (129 in 7 individuals) than females (21 in 37
individuals). Aluminium was found in both white (62 deposits) and grey
(88 deposits) matter. In females the majority of aluminium deposits were
identified as extracellular (15/21) whereas in males the opposite was
the case with 80 out of 129 deposits being intracellular. We were only
supplied with 3 serial sections of each tissue and so we were not able
to do any staining for general morphology which meant that it was not
always possible to determine which subtype of cell was showing aluminium
fluorescence.

Aluminium-loaded mononuclear white blood cells, probably lymphocytes,
were identified in the meninges and possibly in the process of entering
brain tissue from the lymphatic system (Fig.1). Aluminium could be
clearly seen inside cells as either discrete punctate deposits or as
bright yellow fluorescence. Aluminium was located in inflammatory cells
associated with the vasculature (Fig. 2). In one case what looks like an
aluminium-loaded lymphocyte or monocyte was noted within a blood vessel
lumen surrounded by red blood cells while another probable lymphocyte
showing intense yellow fluorescence was noted in the adventitia (Fig.
2b). Glial cells including microglia-like cells that showed positive
aluminium fluorescence were often observed in brain tissue in the
vicinity of aluminium-stained extracellular deposits (Figs. 3&4).
Discrete deposits of aluminium approximately 1mm in diameter were
clearly visible in both round and amoeboid glial cell bodies (e.g. Fig.
3b). Intracellular aluminium was identified in likely neurones and
glia-like cells and often in the vicinity of or co-localised with
lipofuscin (Fig. 5). Aluminium-selective fluorescence microscopy was
successful in identifying aluminium in extracellular and intracellular
locations in neurones and non-neuronal cells and across all brain
tissues studied (Figs.1-5). The method only identifies aluminium as
evidenced by large areas of brain tissue without any characteristic
aluminium-positive fluorescence (Fig. S1).

4. Discussion

The aluminium content of brain tissues from donors with a diagnosis of
ASD was extremely high (Table 1). While there was significant
inter-tissue, inter-lobe and inter-subject variability the mean
aluminium content for each lobe across all 5 individuals was towards the
higher end of all previous (historical) measurements of brain aluminium
content, including iatrogenic disorders such as dialysis encephalopathy
[13,15, 16-19]. All 4 male donors had significantly higher
concentrations of brain aluminium than the single female donor. We
recorded some of the highest values for brain aluminium content ever
measured in healthy or diseased tissues in these male ASD donors
including values of 17.10, 18.57 and 22.11 mg/g dry wt. (Table 1). What
discriminates these data from other analyses of brain aluminium in other
diseases is the age of the ASD donors. Why, for example would a 15
year-old boy have such a high content of aluminium in their brain
tissues? There are no comparative data in the scientific literature, the
closest being similarly high data for a 42 year-old male with familial
Alzheimer’s disease (fAD) [19]. Aluminium-selective fluorescence
microscopy has provided indications as to the location of aluminium in
these ASD brain tissues (Figs. 1-5). Aluminium was found in both white
and grey matter and in both extra- and intracellular locations. The
latter were particularly preeminent in these ASD tissues. Cells that
morphologically appeared non-neuronal and heavily loaded with aluminium
were identified associated with the meninges (Fig. 1), the vasculature
(Fig. 2) and within grey and white matter (Figs. 3-5). Some of these
cells appeared to be glial (probably astrocytic) whilst others had
elongated nuclei giving the appearance of microglia [5]. The latter were
sometimes seen in the environment of extracellular aluminium deposition.
This implies that aluminium somehow had crossed the blood-brain barrier
and was taken up by a native cell namely the microglial cell.
Interestingly, the presence of occasional aluminium-laden inflammatory
cells in the vasculature and the leptomeninges opens the possibility of
a separate mode of entry of aluminium into the brain i.e.
intracellularly. However, to allow this second scenario to be of
significance one would expect some type of intracerebral insult to occur
to allow egress of lymphocytes and monocytes from the vasculature. The
identification herein of non-neuronal cells including inflammatory
cells, glial cells and microglia loaded with aluminium is a standout
observation for ASD. For example, the majority of aluminium deposits
identified in brain tissue in fAD were extracellular and nearly always
associated with grey matter [19]. Aluminium is cytotoxic [21] and its
association herein with inflammatory cells in the vasculature, meninges
and central nervous system is unlikely to be benign. Microglia heavily
loaded with aluminium while potentially remaining viable, at least for
some time, will inevitably be compromised and dysfunctional microglia
are thought to be involved in the aetiology of ASD [22], for example in
disrupting synaptic pruning [23]. In addition the suggestion from the
data herein that aluminium entry into the brain via immune cells
circulating in the blood and lymph is expedited in ASD might begin to
explain the earlier posed question of why there was so much aluminium in
the brain of a 15 year old boy with an ASD. A limitation of our study is
the small number of cases that were available to study and the limited
availability of tissue. Regarding the latter, having access to only 1g
of frozen tissue and just 3 serial sections of fixed tissue per lobe
would normally be perceived as a significant limitation. Certainly if we
had not identified any significant deposits of aluminium in such a small
(the average brain weighs between 1500 and 2000g) sample of brain tissue
then such a finding would be equivocal. However, the fact that we found
aluminium in every sample of brain tissue, frozen or fixed, does suggest
very strongly that individuals with a diagnosis of ASD have
extraordinarily high levels of aluminium in their brain tissue and that
this aluminium is pre-eminently associated with non-neuronal cells
including microglia and other inflammatory monocytes.

5. Conclusions

We have made the first measurements of aluminium in brain tissue in ASD
and we have shown that the brain aluminium content is extraordinarily
high. We have identified aluminium in brain tissue as both extracellular
and intracellular with the latter involving both neurones and
non-neuronal cells. The presence of aluminium in inflammatory cells in
the meninges, vasculature, grey and white matter is a standout
observation and could implicate aluminium in the aetiology of ASD

It was here in this room, beneath this same gilded ceiling, that one chapter of the story began. On 2 November 1917 my predecessor Lord Balfour sat in the Foreign Secretary’s office, where I am writing now, and composed a letter to Lord Rothschild.

The essence of the Balfour Declaration consists of one sentence of 67 words; those were the carefully calibrated syllables that laid the foundations of the State of Israel.

Balfour declared that “His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people”; with the famous and crucial proviso that “nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities”.

On the Centenary, I will say what I believe: the Balfour Declaration was indispensable to the creation of a great nation. In the seven decades since its birth, Israel has prevailed over what has sometimes been the bitter hostility of neighbours to become a liberal democracy and a dynamic hi-tech economy.

In a region where many have endured authoritarianism and misrule, Israel has always stood out as a free society. Like every country, Israel has faults and failings. But it strives to live by the values in which I believe.

I served a stint at a kibbutz in my youth, and (though I was mainly washing up) I saw enough to understand the miracle of Israel: the bonds of hard work, self-reliance and an audacious and relentless energy that hold together a remarkable country.

Most of all, there is the incontestable moral goal: to provide a persecuted people with a safe and secure homeland. So I am proud of Britain’s part in creating Israel and Her Majesty’s Government will mark the Centenary of the Balfour Declaration on Thursday in that spirit.

I see no contradiction in being a friend of Israel – and a believer in that country’s destiny – while also being deeply moved by the suffering of those affected and dislodged by its birth. The vital caveat in the Balfour Declaration – intended to safeguard other communities – has not been fully realised.

I have no doubt that the only viable solution to the conflict resembles the one first set down on paper by another Briton, Lord Peel, in the report of the Royal Commission on Palestine in 1937, and that is the vision of two states for two peoples.

For Israel, the birth of a Palestinian state is the only way to secure its demographic future as a Jewish and democratic nation. For Palestinians, a state of their own would allow them to realise their aspirations for self-determination and self-government.

Achieving this goal will require painful compromises from both sides. In the words of Amos Oz, the Israeli novelist, the tragedy of the conflict is not that it is a clash between right and wrong, but rather a “clash between right and right”.

What might the future look like? In private, Israelis and Palestinians often tell me their visions for peace – and their parameters frequently have much in common. But they are understandably reluctant to define them in public. This November also marks the 50th anniversary of another British-drafted document, United Nations Resolution 242, that enshrined the principle of land-for-peace as the route to a settlement in the Holy Land. So in this time of anniversaries – and animated by the spirit of Balfour and Peel and of another Briton, Lord Caradon, better known as Hugh Foot, who drafted Resolution 242 – I propose to set out what I suggest is a fair compromise.

There should be two independent and sovereign states: a secure Israel, the homeland for the Jewish people, standing alongside a viable and contiguous Palestinian state, the homeland for the Palestinian people, as envisaged by UN General Assembly Resolution 181.

The borders should be based on the lines as they stood on June 4, 1967 – the eve of the Six Day War – with equal land swaps to reflect the national, security, and religious interests of the Jewish and Palestinian peoples. There must be security arrangements that, for Israelis, prevent the resurgence of terrorism and deal effectively with all threats, including new and significant threats in the region; and, for Palestinians, respect their sovereignty, ensure freedom of movement, and demonstrate that occupation is over.

There needs to be a just, fair, agreed and realistic solution to the Palestinian refugee question, in line with UN Resolution 1515. In practical terms, this means that any such agreement has to be demographically compatible with two states for two peoples and a generous package of international compensation must be made available. The final determination of Jerusalem should be agreed by the parties, ensuring that the holy city is a shared capital of Israel and a Palestinian state, granting access and religious rights for all who hold it dear.

All of the above I set out with due humility, because it is Israelis and Palestinians – not those of us who live far away – who would bear the pain of compromise. And I am encouraged by President Trump’s evident commitment to finding a solution.

Britain and, I am sure, our European friends stand ready to help implement any agreement, including by supporting its security provisions, contributing to refugee compensation, and enabling flows of trade and investment between Europe, Israel, a sovereign Palestinian state, and its Arab neighbours, which could help transform the region.

I am also heartened that the new generation of Arab leaders does not see Israel in the same light as their predecessors. I trust that more will be done against the twin scourges of terrorism and anti-Semitic incitement. But, in the final analysis, it is Israelis and Palestinians who must negotiate the detail and write their own chapter in history. A century on, Britain will give whatever support we can in order to close the ring and complete the unfinished business of the Balfour Declaration.

Last week there was a significant development in the international response to the Israeli occupation when the UN rapporteur for human rights in the occupied territories came out with a harsh report saying the world was too passive about the occupation.

The “duration of this occupation is without precedent or parallel in today’s world,” the report said. Israel has “driven Gaza back to the dark ages” due to denial of water and electricity and freedom of movement. There is a “darkening stain” on the world’s legal framework because other countries have treated the occupation as normal, and done nothing to resist Israel’s “colonial ambition par excellence,” which includes two sets of laws for Israelis and Palestinians.

At a press conference about his report, S. Michael Lynk, a Canadian professor of law and human rights expert, said it is time the international community reach into its “toolbox” of enforcement mechanisms, so as to “raise the stakes” against the occupation and change international “opinion” of Israel. The country had been worried by the Goldstone Report in 2009 and is today worried by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), Lynk said; so if the international community took “unified actions on an escalating basis” to declare the occupation illegal and demand Israel’s withdrawal, Israel would respond.

That means sanctions.

Israel is very dependent upon trade with the outside world, it’s very dependent upon its market with the United States, it’s very dependent upon its market with Europe. If there was an understanding that all of a sudden Israelis wanting to travel abroad needed to have visas, if all of a sudden Israel wasn’t going to get preferential trading agreements with the EU. If all of a sudden, the many and multitude of forms of military or economic cooperation or academic cooperation with Israel were now going to come to an end as long as Israel continued that,  I think you’d begin to see a sea-change in the attitude of ordinary Israelis and in the attitude of the Israeli government…. Every journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.

“I didn’t use the word boycott,” Lynk said in the press conference, though he called for a refusal to purchase settlement goods.

He got an immediate reaction. US ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley on Friday said that the U.S. was “deeply disturbed” by Lynk’s report and by his support for “economic and academic boycott” of Israel. The Jerusalem Post turned on Lynk for seeking to turn Israel into a “pariah state” (don’t worry, it’s happening on its own).

Lynk’s report is the big news here. Its characterization of Israeli actions in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza as flagrant violations of international law that are causing huge suffering that the world ignores, along with its implicit endorsement of BDS, are as important an intervention as earlier efforts by Richard Goldstone and Jimmy Carter.

As Peter Belmont wrote on his blog, Lynk is seeking to revive the dead letter of the two-state solution:

Prof. Lynk may have come up with a powerful reason for the nations to act together with a program of minimal steps which they might take while getting up the nerve and determination to take really effective steps—sanctions against Israel to compel Israel to comply with [international law]. Such sanctions, one supposes, could result in bringing the occupation to an end…. Voilà! A two-state solution!

Israel refused Lynk access to the occupied territories. Here are excerpts from the report that convey its emphatic character.

The occupation affects all of Palestinian life:

The human rights and humanitarian law violations associated with the occupation impact every aspect of life for Palestinians living in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza

Gaza is in misery:

In addition, water supplies are at risk, with most homes receiving water through the piped network for only a few hours every 3-5 days, while the desalination plants are functioning at only 15 per cent of their capacity. More than 108 million litres of untreated sewage were reportedly being discharged into the Mediterranean every day…

In August of 2017, five cancer patients died while awaiting permits to travel for needed care

The settlements have choked the two state solution and threatened human rights.

[T]he two state solution [is] on life support, with a fading pulse…

The world just treats Israel as the lawful occupant of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.  This represents an “abject failure” of international law and “a darkening stain.”

This is the longest-running military occupation in the modern world. Notwithstanding insistent calls by the international community, most recently in 2016, that the Israeli occupation must come to a complete end, that many of its features are in profound breach of international law, and that its perpetuation both violates the fundamental right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and undermines the possibility of a two-state solution, it has become more entrenched and harsher than ever. Indeed, the Israeli occupation has become a legal and humanitarian oxymoron: an occupation without end.

Thirty-seven years ago, in June 1980, the Security Council – sufficiently alarmed by the duration and severity of the occupation and Israel’s defiance of prior resolutions – adopted Resolution 476. At the time, the Israeli occupation was already thirteen years old. In its 1980 resolution, the Security Council reaffirmed “…the overwhelming necessity to end the prolonged occupation of Arab territories…by Israel” and “strongly deplore the continuing refusal of Israel to comply with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly.”

The inability to end the Israeli occupation has been an abject failure of international diplomacy, a darkening stain on the efficacy of international law and the source of multiple broken promises to the Palestinian people. Nor does the prolongation of this occupation serve the people of Israel, for it corrodes their society and their public institutions by entangling them in their government’s drive to foreclose a viable and just solution to the half-century of occupation and the century-long conflict, and makes them the beneficiaries – unwittingly or not – of a profoundly unequal and unjust relationship.

The prevailing approach of the international community has been to treat Israel as the lawful occupant of the Palestinian territory, albeit an occupant that has committed a number of grave breaches of international law in its conduct of the occupation, including the settlement enterprise, the construction of the Wall, the annexation of East Jerusalem and the systemic violations of Palestinian human rights. In the view of the Special Rapporteur, while the lawful occupant approach may have been the appropriate diplomatic and legal portrayal of the occupation in its early years, it has since become wholly inadequate both as an accurate legal characterization of what the occupation has become and as a viable political, diplomatic and legal catalyst

It’s a colonial project, par excellence:

The duration of this occupation is without precedent or parallel in today’s world.

The only credible explanation for Israel’s continuation of the occupation and its thickening of the settlement regime is to enshrine its sovereign claim over part or all of the Palestinian territory, a colonial ambition par excellence. Every Israeli government since 1967 has pursued the continuous growth of the settlements, and the significant financial, military and political resources committed to the enterprise belies any intention on its part to make the occupation temporary…

It’s apartheid, though Lynk doesn’t use that word.

According to recent reports by the World Bank and the United Nations, the expanding Israeli settlement enterprise and the supporting apparatus of occupation has deepened the already separate and distinctly inferior civil and economic conditions imposed upon Palestinians in the West Bank. There, the Palestinians are subject to a harsh and arbitrary legal system quite unequal to that enjoyed by the Israeli settlers.

And ethnic cleansing, though he doesn’t use that word either:

Israel employs practices that in some cases may amount to the forcible transfer of Palestinians, primarily those living in rural areas, as a means of confiscating land for settlements…

As for East Jerusalem, the occupation has increasingly detached it from its traditional national, economic, cultural and family connections with the West Bank because of the Wall, the growing ring of settlements and related checkpoints, and the discriminatory permit regime…

The dark ages line. Gaza is unique in the world for suffering a decline in GDP in the last 11 years:

Israel has maintained a suffocating economic and travel blockade that has driven Gaza back to the dark ages. More than 60 per cent of the population of Gaza is reliant upon humanitarian aid, it is unable to secure more than one-third of the electrical power that it requires, it will soon exhaust its sources of safe drinking water, and, virtually unique in the world, its gross domestic product is actually lower than it was in 2006…

The international community refused to impose the “robust tools” of law to counter these human rights abuses:

the international community recoiled from answering Israel’s splintering of the Palestinian territory and disfiguring of the laws of occupation with the robust tools that international law and diplomacy provide. International law, along with the peoples of Palestine and Israel, have all suffered in the process.

We need international pressure:

[The world must] devise and employ the appropriate diplomatic and legal steps that, measure by measure, would completely and finally end the occupation. As Amos Schocken, the publisher of Ha’aretz, has written about his own country’s leadership: “…international pressure is precisely the force that will drive them to do the right thing.”

Lynk likens the occupation to the South African occupation of Namibia, which was ruled illegal, and calls for an International Court of Justice opinion stating that every bit of the occupation, not just the settlements, is illegal. That would lead to a wideranging program of sanctions:

A determination that Israel’s role as occupant is now illegal would serve several significant purposes. First, it would encourage member states to take all reasonable steps to prevent or discourage national institutions, organizations and corporations within their jurisdiction from engaging in activities that would invest in, or sustain, the occupation. Second, it would encourage national and international courts to apply the appropriate laws within their jurisdiction that would prevent or discourage cooperation with entities that invest in, or sustain, the occupation. Third, it would invite the international community to review its various forms of cooperation with the occupying power as long as it continues to administer the occupation unlawfully. Fourth, it would provide a solid precedent for the international community when judging other occupations of long duration. Most of all, such a determination would confirm the moral importance of upholding the international rule of law when aiding the besieged and the vulnerable.
